Swagelok Korea delivers more value through its new facilities in Gwangmyeong
Seoul – (October 20, 2020) – Swagelok Korea, authorized sales and service center for the distribution of Swagelok® products, has expanded and relocated its office to Gwangmyeong to better serve the needs of customers that rely on the company's high-quality fluid system components and supporting services.
With the August 2020 move, Swagelok Korea has further expanded its offering of fluid system assemblies and specialized training programs tailored according to customers’ specifications and requirements. Through the relocation of its sales office and the integration with its solutions and service center, Swagelok Korea has further strengthened its ability to ensure the local availability of high-quality fluid system components and solve customers’ fluid system challenges.
Swagelok Korea's new office space includes a solutions center where high-purity and general industrial fluid systems are assembled, a training center where regular training is conducted and skills are practiced, and a service center that specializes in supporting Swagelok orbital welding machines.
Delivering Purity from Our Class 100 Cleanroom
The solutions center operates a Class 100 cleanroom that meets the standards of the semiconductor industry. At this facility, projects typically begin with computer aided design (CAD). Components are sourced for assembly by the Swagelok Korea Custom Solutions team, then completed assemblies are inspected for quality, tested, and packaged before they are delivered to customers.
World Class Fluid System Assemblies
Swagelok’s team of experts have worked with businesses across the globe to add efficiency and reliability to customers’ operations by delivering world class fluid system assemblies. The solutions and service center has the latest equipment to manufacture panels used in various applications such as those found in petrochemical plants and oil & gas facilities. Swagelok’s standard and configurable assemblies include grab sampling systems, gas distribution systems and mechanical seal support systems.
Building expertise in Korea
In an effort to systematically share fluid system-related expertise and know-how with customers, the training center has installed a state-of-the-art conference system that can accommodate up to 50 people and can provide real-time video training. The Swagelok Korea training center will provide hands-on training programs developed at Swagelok’s headquarters in the United States, in addition to seminars launching new products and services, and other activities that will support customers' fluid systems.
